Our Outreach Center

3602 16th Street, Columbus, NE


First UMC purchased their Outreach Center on May 31, 2016.  The facility  originally served as the Highland Park Evangelical Free Church and had been the location for the Rainbow Center after that.  It is located "off the Boulevard" -- Howard Blvd, that is -- and features parking lots on the east and west sides of the building.  There is a Blessing Box providing food items that is located on the southeast side of the facility.  We celebrate many community partnerships housed in our facility including Habitat for Humanity, A Place at the Table (Food for Thought) Backpack Program as well as Red Cross Blood Drives.

Missions & Ministries

Quilters Group - Tuesdays 9 AM (use north alley entrance)

Blessing Box available anytime located in Southeast corner of building.

Food Pantry  Open Thursdays 4:00-6:00 PM or by appointment only. Entrance is located by the Southeast corner of the building.

*Wednesday Nite Community Meal (Pick Up in alley) or dine in available from 5:30 to 6:30 PM

*Wednesday After-School Program - 2:30-5:00 PM

*Wednesday Nite Worship - 6:45-7:15 PM

*Wednesday Nite Youth Group - 7:15-8:15 PM

*Wednesday Nite Adult Groups - 7:15-8:15 PM
